Istanbul Twilight – Spring Hafla

Thanks to Myra for putting on a fabulous evening at Istanbul Twilight, the Belly Dance Amethyst Spring Hafla.

Velvet Caravan, Belly Dance Amethyst’s Tribal Troupe, performed a cheeky parasol dance to Beauty Beats.

The fabulous Bridgewater Babes students from the Thursday night classes as Bridgewater did a fab job performing a gypsy fusion, Balkaneros, and a classic Egyptian choreography to Esma Yalli. Thanks for making me proud of you gorgeous girls – as always!

And for those that couldn’t make it on the night, we missed you and hope you’ll be along next time.

Performances – Perry Park Plus

The last few weeks have been busy for the Bridgewater Babes with a performances across Adelaide from Port Noarlunga to Woodside.

Some of the Bridgewater students put on a Friday night performance for the residents at Perry Park aged care. The show went down very well with the residents and the staff.

A Bollywood dance session for the community at Inverbrackie the following week was another opportunity to dance for an enthusiastic audience. Some of the songs were familiar to the audience members and many of the kids – and even some of the adults – joined in the dancing.

Winter Warmer Classes

Come and join us for Term 3 at Belly Dance Amethyst. Thursday night classes started last week – but it’s not too late to join up.

Why not come along for both classes this Thursday and see what takes your fancy. Choose between the fun fusion skirt dance at 7pm or the classic Egyptian pop at 8pm – or do them both for a winter workout.

Join us at Bridgewater Hall from 7pm on Thursday nights. Beginners special from $55.
