The Bridgewater Thursday night ladies are going to do their new veil choreography at the show!

Term 2 Bellydance Classes in beginners basics (for beginners and progressive beginners) are starting at Bridgewater Hall on Thursday May 7th at 7pm.

This term we will be learning a simple but elegant veil choreography. For more information and enrolment details see the Bellydance Amethyst website.

Today is the last Bollywood/Bellydance class of the term for the girls at Loreto.

It’s been a really nice term and I’ll be sorry to leave there.

Over the term the girls have learned two choreographies – one Bollywood and one belly dance. The Bollywood one was especially popular with the older girls. The younger ones really loved the veils, both learning some of the basics and playing veil games.

Last Thursday night was my first class teaching beginners bellydance classes at Bridgewater Hall as one of the Bellydance Amethyst teachers.

It’s a really fun, relaxed class and after starting on some of the basic moves, we’re ready to start learning the beginning of our choreography next week.

The classes are 7-8pm on Thursday nights at Bridgewater Hall. It’s $80 for a 10 week term and 10-visist and 5-visit passes (valid for 12 months) are also available for those who would rather pay that way.
