Get ready for term 4

It’s time to step into spring and get ready for the summer…

Bridgewater Babes Esma Yalli

Bridgewater Babes performing at the end of term 3 hafla

Belly Dance Amethyst classes start next week, so Bridgewater Babes it’s time to get your shimmy on from next Thursday 17th October.

The 7pm class is looking at tribal style with a focus on improv cues and putting the combinations together into a choreography to Osama Ayub.

For those who are new to the dance – or like a more classical flavour – the 8pm class is a classic cabaret choreography to the gorgeous song Law Mehtagly (If you needed me).

Hope to see you there!

Fullarton Markets

To keep the dancing theme of the weekend some of the Belly Dance Amethyst Dancers, including part of the Velvet Caravan Troupe, danced at the Fullarton Markets on Saturday morning.

Despite the early rain, the skies cleared for the performance and there were plenty of market goers and stall holders to enjoy the show.

Istanbul Twilight – Spring Hafla

Thanks to Myra for putting on a fabulous evening at Istanbul Twilight, the Belly Dance Amethyst Spring Hafla.

Velvet Caravan, Belly Dance Amethyst’s Tribal Troupe, performed a cheeky parasol dance to Beauty Beats.

The fabulous Bridgewater Babes students from the Thursday night classes as Bridgewater did a fab job performing a gypsy fusion, Balkaneros, and a classic Egyptian choreography to Esma Yalli. Thanks for making me proud of you gorgeous girls – as always!

And for those that couldn’t make it on the night, we missed you and hope you’ll be along next time.
