While we had a few out with illness and other issues, the Bridgewater Babes in attendance on the day did a fabulous job swirling skirts and spinning to Bum Tras (Boom Bang) by the Boban and Marko Markovic Orchestra.

Now that the Winter Hafla and Intertwine shows are done, it’s time to focus on the new term at Belly Dance Amethyst. This term we’re doing a Balkan fusion skirt dance on Thursday nights at Bridgewater Hall. Term started last week, but it’s not too late to join for the term.
Celebrate the end of term one at the Belly Dance Amethyst Hafla at the Hungarian Hall in Norwood.
Come and see performances from student groups, teachers and solo performers. There will also be goodies for sale and drinks at the bar.
Check out the event page for more details.
After a busy Term 1, the Bridgewater Belly Dancers did a great job (as always) in their performances at the end of term Hafla at the Hungarian Hall in Norwood – I’m very proud of you ladies.
And after our holiday break, term 2 starts next week at Belly Dance Amethyst. New dancers are very welcome at the beginners class at 8pm on Thursday nights. There’s also the open level class at 7pm on Thursday nights, too, for those with some dancing experience. We would love to see you there.
